Bring
in any photo (up to 8 X 10) and we can put it on the top of your cake! We scan the image into the computer and then print it out on a modified bubble jet printer using food colouring ink and rice paper. We then paint the back of the rice paper with white chocolate so the image will not dissolve on our real fresh cream or real butter cream cakes.We are currently the only bakery in BC to be able to output the image as large as 11X17. We helped bring this technology to Vancouver and were the second bakery (Valley Bakery was the first) to offer this service since we introduced it in April 1999. We are the ONLY bakery that uses the highest quality paper and paint the back with white chocolate to give the best possible results. Other bakeries either use a thicker rice paper which dissolves slower (but it still dissolves) or add chemicals to their cream to make the cream more stable. We can accept emailed files as well. PLEASE make sure that they are JPG files and are under 1Mb in size.
