When we introduced this cake in 1993, it was an instant hit. As there is not as much work required to decorate the non-concentric cakes, they are typically more cost effective than stacked or pillared cakes of the same size. At Anna's we price our cakes fairly instead of randomly increasing our cake prices just by putting the word "wedding" in front of it. If the price seems out of line (at our bakery or any others) ask to have the price broken down tier by tier and to explain any discrepancies in buying regular cakes of the same size. reference: WC 09 |
